and those that have become corrupt, explaining the manner in which they deviated after once being upright; a collection of the scandals of the two communities of the Book and a portrayal of their present reality; a demonstration that, of all people, they stand most aloof from their own prophets, and that the very scriptures of those prophets testify to their unbelief and misguidance—along with other remarkable insights found nowhere else. Allah’s help is sought, upon Him we rely; He is sufficient for us, and what an excellent Guardian.
