some of their leading figures contend that it is a prophecy about Moses son of ʿImrān, Elijah, and Elisha, and that they will appear at the end of time. This is one of the grossest falsehoods, a flagrant affront to Allah and a sheer fabrication, for no one who has died will return before the appointed, well-known Day.
Thirty-Sixth Aspect: The Messiah says in the Gospel that they still possess, offering a parable of this world: “A man planted (1) a vineyard, fenced (2) it round, set a wine-press in it, built a tower, entrusted it to caretakers, and then went abroad. When the season for harvesting drew near, he sent his servant to the caretakers of the vineyard….”
He first made the parable about the prophets and about himself, then about the prophet who would finally be put in charge of the vineyard. He then spoke plainly about his community, saying: “I tell you: the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a nation that obeys and acts.” Next he likened the prophet of this nation to a stone, declaring: “Whoever falls upon this stone will be broken, and upon whomever it falls, he will be crushed.” (3) This description befits Muhammad—and those who oppose and fight him among mankind—and no one after the Messiah fulfils it but he.
Thirty-Seventh Aspect: Isaiah says in the scrolls that are in their hands (4): “Let the thirsty wilderness rejoice; let the deserts and wastelands exult, for they shall be granted, through Ahmad, the beauties of Lebanon and the splendour of its orchards.” (5)
