and he rescued the weak from the tyrants. This, however, is unlike the Messiah, for he never attained such power during his lifetime (1), nor did those who followed him after he was raised to heaven achieve what has been described. Moreover, they do not invoke blessings and benedictions upon him day and night, since those people claim his divinity and pray to him.
(Tenth Aspect) (2): In another Psalm it is said, “Let the deserts and their villages rejoice; let the land of Kedar become verdant meadows; let the cave-dwellers praise, and let them cry out from the mountaintops with praise of the Lord, and publish His praises in the open air” (3). Now, who are the desert-dwellers among the nations if not the community of Muhammad? Who is “Kedar” (4) if not the descendants of Ishmael, one of his ﷺ forefathers? Who are the inhabitants of the caves and the mountain peaks if not the Arabs? And who is the one whose remembrance endures forever if not he?
(Eleventh Aspect) (5): In yet another Psalm he says, “Indeed, our Lord has greatly exalted Mahmood” (6), and in another place, “Our God is Holy, and Muhammad has filled the whole earth with joy” (7). Thus David explicitly named Muhammad, his land, and the fact that his word would spread throughout the world.
