(68–69) “Your Lord inspired the bees: ‘Make your homes in the mountains, in the trees, and in the structures people erect. * Then feed on every kind of fruit and follow the paths your Lord has made easy for you.’ From their bellies comes a drink of varying colors, in which there is healing for people. Surely in that is a sign for people who reflect.”

The creation of this tiny bee, which Allah has guided in such a wondrous manner; His making its pastures readily accessible to it; its return to the homes it has built under Allah’s instruction and guidance; and the emergence from its belly of this delicious honey, whose colors vary according to its lands and pastures and in which there is healing for people from many illnesses—all this is evidence of Allah Most High’s perfect care and His consummate kindness toward His servants, and that He alone should be loved and none other invoked.
