(51–56) “And tell them about Abraham’s guests.”
Allah the Exalted says to His Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: “And tell them about Abraham’s guests”—that is, tell them of that wondrous story. For by recounting to them the accounts of the messengers and what befell them, they are moved to take heed and follow their example—especially Abraham, Allah’s intimate friend, whose way Allah has commanded us to follow. His guests were the noble angels, and Allah honored him by making them his guests.
