“Those who believe and do righteous deeds—for them is blessedness and a beautiful return.”
“Those who believe and do righteous deeds”—that is, they believe in their hearts in Allah, His angels, His Books, His messengers, and the Last Day, and they confirm this faith through righteous deeds: deeds of the heart, such as loving Allah, fearing Him, and hoping in Him; and deeds of the limbs, such as prayer and the like. “For them is blessedness and a beautiful return”—that is, theirs is a blessed state and a beautiful destination.
This is because of the pleasure and honor they receive from Allah in this world and the Hereafter, and because theirs will be complete ease and perfect tranquility. This includes the Tree of Tūbā in Paradise, beneath whose shade a rider may travel for a hundred years without crossing it, as stated in authentic hadiths.
