(25–26) “Allah calls to the Abode of Peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path.”

Allah Most High extends to all His servants the call to the Abode of Peace, urging and encouraging them to seek it. Yet He singles out for guidance whomever He wills to make His own and choose. This is His grace and beneficence, for Allah singles out for His mercy whom He wills. That is His justice and wisdom. No one has any argument against Him after the truth has been made clear and the messengers have been sent.

Allah named Paradise the “Abode of Peace” because it is free of every affliction and deficiency. This is due to the perfection, fullness, and permanence of its bliss, and because it is beautiful in every respect.
