- “To Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and Allah encompasses all things.”
This noble verse explains that Allah Most High encompasses all things. He states that to Him belongs “whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.” That is, they all belong to Him and are His servants: they are owned, while He is the Owner, alone in governing them. His knowledge encompasses everything knowable, His sight everything visible, and His hearing everything audible. His will and power extend to all that exists; His mercy embraces the inhabitants of the earth and the heavens; by His might and irresistible power, He subdues every creature; and all things submit to Him.
