access and the speed with which the commentary on a verse can be consulted on the same page, rather than having to refer to it in separate books of tafsīr. He will also take care to correct the source text and ensure high printing quality.

I therefore ask Allah to reward our son, Shaykh Abd al-Rahmān ibn Mu‘allā al-Luwayhiq, for this blessed undertaking; to grant him the finest reward; to make this edition beneficial, just as He made the previous editions beneficial; to grant the finest reward to everyone who contributed to bringing this beneficial project to completion; and to encompass them all, together with the author of the commentary, in His mercy. He is Munificent and Generous. May Allah bestow blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
