(50–61) “Then they will turn to one another, questioning each other. One of them will say, ‘Indeed, I once had a companion.’”
After mentioning their bliss and complete joy in food, drink, beautiful spouses, and pleasant gatherings, Allah mentions how they will reminisce together and exchange accounts of bygone matters. They will continue conversing and questioning one another until one of them says: “Indeed, I once had a companion” in this world who denied the resurrection and reproached me for believing in it.
