“As for those who disbelieved and denied Our signs and the meeting of the Hereafter, they will be brought into the punishment.”

(16) “As for those who disbelieved”—denying His blessings and responding to them with ingratitude—“and denied Our signs,” which Our messengers brought to them, “they will be brought into the punishment.” They will be brought into it with Hell surrounding them on every side. The painful punishment will penetrate their hearts, scalding water will sear their faces, and their intestines will be torn apart. How vast is the difference between the two groups! How could those enjoying bliss and those suffering punishment ever be equal?”
