(36–37) “And to Midian We sent their brother Shuʿayb. He said, ‘O my people, worship Allah, look forward to the Last Day, and do not spread corruption throughout the land.’ But they rejected him, so the earthquake seized them, and by morning they lay lifeless in their homes.”
