⦗64⦘ “Or who originates creation and then repeats it, and who provides for you from the heaven and the earth? Is there any deity alongside Allah? Say, ‘Produce your proof, if you are truthful.’”

That is: Who is it that originates creation, brings created beings into existence, and initiates their creation, then recreates them on the Day of Resurrection? And who provides for you from the heaven and the earth through rain and vegetation?

“Is there any deity alongside Allah” that does this or has the power to do so? “Say, ‘Produce your proof’”—that is, your argument and evidence for what you claim—“if you are truthful.” Even assuming that you claim the idols share with Him in any of this, it is merely an assertion; substantiate it with proof. Otherwise, know that you are upon falsehood and have no evidence. So return to the certain evidence and decisive proofs demonstrating that Allah alone has absolute control over all affairs and that He alone deserves to have every form of worship devoted to Him.
