He then detailed the signs by which it is known and established that He is the deity worthy of worship, that worshipping Him is the truth, and that worshipping [anything] besides Him is falsehood. He said:

⦗60⦘ “Or who is it that created the heavens and the earth, and sent down water for you from the sky, by which We caused splendid gardens to grow, whose trees you could never have caused to grow? Is there any deity alongside Allah? Rather, they are a people who ascribe equals to Him.”

That is: Who created the heavens and all they contain—the sun, the moon, the stars, and the angels—and the earth and all it contains—mountains, seas, rivers, trees, and other things?
