except through mercy from your Lord. Indeed, His favor toward you has been immense.”

Allah Most High states that the Quran and the revelation He sent to His Messenger are a mercy from Him to the Messenger and to His servants. It is, without exception, the greatest blessing bestowed upon His Messenger, for Allah’s favor toward him is immense and beyond all measure.

The One who graciously bestowed it upon you is able to take it away; then you would find no one able to restore it and no advocate to plead before Allah concerning it.

So rejoice in it and let it delight your eyes. Do not let the denial of the deniers or the mockery of those astray grieve you. The most glorious of blessings was offered to them, but they rejected it because of their low standing with Allah and because He had forsaken them.
