We do not claim that this work of ours has attained perfection. We may revisit it once or repeatedly, should Allah Most High make the means available to us. “We ask Allah—who first bestowed His blessings upon us before we deserved them, who perpetuates them for us despite our shortcomings in offering the gratitude for them that He has made obligatory, and who has made us part of the best nation brought forth for humankind—to grant us understanding of His Book, then of the Sunnah of His Prophet, and speech and deeds through which His due right may be rendered from us and through which we may merit the further bounty He bestows.” (1)
And may He accept this work from us, make it sincere for His noble Countenance, and reward us for it as He rewards His sincere servants.
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
