Al-Hasan said: a little over thirty thousand.

Sa‘id ibn Jubayr said: seventy thousand. (1)

“They believed, so We granted them enjoyment for a time. Ask them, then: are daughters for your Lord, while sons are for them? Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses? Indeed, it is from their falsehood that they say, ‘Allah has begotten,’ and they are surely liars. Has He chosen daughters over sons?” (148–153)
