Then, when a full year had passed and the jinn learned of Solomon’s death, one of them came and made his way through Tihamah. When he reached the heart of Yemen, he cried out at the top of his voice: “O company of jinn! King Solomon has died, so raise your hands!” They raised their hands and dispersed, and the kingdom of Dhu Tubba—and Bilqis’s kingdom along with Solomon’s kingdom—came to an end. (1)

It was also said that Solomon attained the kingship when he was thirteen years old, and that he died at the age of fifty-three.
