“Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. So worship Him, and be steadfast in His worship”: that is, remain patient in obeying His commands and refraining from what He has forbidden. “Do you know of anyone equal to Him?” Ibn ‘Abbas said: “Anyone like Him.” (1)
Al-Kalbi said: “Do you know anyone besides Him who is called Allah?” (2)
