Nafiʿ, Ibn ʿAmir, Yaʿqub, and Abu Bakr recited it here as nukuran, with the kaf vowelled with ḍammah; and in Surat al-Talaq likewise, whereas the others recited it with the kaf unvowelled.
قَرَأَ نَافِعٌ وَابْنُ عَامِرٍ وَيَعْقُوبُ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ هَاهُنَا: ﴿نَكِرًا﴾ وَفِي سُورَةِ الطَّلَاقِ بِضَمِّ الْكَافِ وَالْآخَرُونَ بِسُكُونِهَا.
