It was said: Trembling occurs when punishment and retribution are mentioned, while tranquillity comes when the promise and reward are mentioned. Thus, hearts tremble when they recall Allah’s justice and the severity of His reckoning, and find comfort when they recall Allah’s bounty, His reward, and His generosity. (1)
