- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: My father narrated to us; he said: Hushaym narrated to us, from ʿAli ibn Zayd, from Saʿid ibn al-Musayyib, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The pinnacle of reason—after faith in Allah—is to deal with people tactfully.”
٢٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبِي، قَالَ: ثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «رَأْسُ الْعَقْلِ بَعْدَ الْإِيمَانِ بِاللَّهِ ﷿ مُدَارَاةُ النَّاسِ»
