I read from the beginning of the fascicle up to the word “balāgh” in the presence of our shaykh, Bahāʾ al-Dīn Abū Muḥammad ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ibrāhīm, relying on his own audition. He recited it, and it was heard by the hopeful servant Taqī al-Dīn Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad, by Shujāʿ al-Dīn Ḥamd ibn Marzbān, and by his son Aḥmad. That took place on 4 Dhu al-Ḥijjah in the year 621 AH. Written by ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Ghanī al-Maqdisī.
