20 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: ʿAli ibn Ibrahim al-Sahmi narrated to us; he said: Dawud ibn al-Muhabbar narrated to us; he said: Hammam ibn Yahya narrated to us; he said: We asked Qatadah, “Who among people is the most enviable?” He answered, “The one with the keenest intellect.” We said, “The most knowledgeable among them?” He replied, “The one with the keenest intellect.”
