13 – ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; he said: Muḥammad b. ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; he said: Manṣūr b. Ṣuqayr narrated to us; he said: Mūsā b. Aʿyan narrated to us; he said: ʿUbayd Allāh b. ʿUmar al-ʿUmari narrated to me, from Nāfiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, traced back to the Prophet, who said:

“A man may be among the people of prayer, zakat, jihad, hajj, ʿumrah—he went on to mention every other arrow of goodness—yet he will receive no recompense on the Day of Resurrection except in proportion to his intellect.”
