7 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Yusuf ibn Musa narrated to us; he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from Mujahid—regarding the Almighty’s words, “men of power and insight” (Surah Sad 38:45). He said: “al-aydī (the ‘hands’) refers to strength, and al-abṣār (the ‘eyes’) refers to intellect.”
