101 – Abu Bakr narrated to me: Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to me; he said: Yaʿqūb ibn Muḥammad al-Zuhrī narrated to me; Dāwūd ibn Salamah al-Ḥārithī narrated to me; he said: I heard Abū Ḥāzim say: It used to be said, “A person’s self-admiration for his own deeds is one of the enviers of his soul.”
