91 – Abu Bakr narrated to me: Abu Salih al-Jili reported to us, saying: Hafs ibn Humayd said, “It is part of a man’s waraʿ (scrupulous piety) that he not deceive others, and part of his ʿaql (sound intellect) that he not be deceived.”
