69 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us. He said: I was informed by ʿAbd Allah ibn Khabiq al-Antaki, who said: It used to be said, “The intellect is the lamp that illumines what is hidden, the mainstay of what is manifest, the steward of the body, and the adornment of every person. Life is sound only through it, and all affairs revolve around it.”
