80 – (Ṣaḥīḥ) Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim reported:
He saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performing a prayer in which he said:
“Allah is supremely great; all praise belongs to Allah in abundance; glory be to Allah morning and evening.” [three times] “I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the Accursed—-from his blowing, his spitting, and his madness.”
His blowing means arrogance, his spitting refers to poetry, and his madness denotes epileptic frenzy.
