8 – Section: The Merit of Worshipping at Night

Allah the Exalted says: “O you who are wrapped up, stand at night in prayer, except for a little,” up to His words, “Surely the rising by night is most potent and most upright in speech.” [al-Muzzammil: 1, 5]

He also says: “And in the night keep vigil with it as an extra act of devotion for you; it may be that your Lord will raise you to a praiseworthy station.” [al-Isrāʾ: 79]

And He says: “And during the night, prostrate yourself to Him and glorify Him long into the night.” [ad-Dahr: 26]
