48 – (Very weak)
Buraidah reported that Khalid ibn al-Walid complained to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying, “O Messenger of Allah, I cannot sleep at night because of insomnia.” The Prophet replied:
“When you go to bed say:
‘O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and all they shade, Lord of the seven earths and all they bear, Lord of the devils and all they mislead—be my protector from the evil of every one of Your creatures, lest any of them overstep against me or wrong me. Mighty is Your protection, exalted is Your praise; there is no deity besides You, there is no god but You.’ ”
