41 – (sound) Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Prophet ﷺ, when retiring to his bed, used to say:
“O Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, Lord of the Mighty Throne; our Lord and the Lord of everything; Splitter of the grain and the date-stone, Revealer of the Torah, the Gospel, and the Criterion—I seek refuge in You from the evil of every creature whose forelock You hold. O Allah, You are the First: nothing is before You; You are the Last: nothing is after You; You are the Most High: nothing is above You; You are the Most Near: nothing is beneath You. Settle our debts for us and free us from poverty.” ⦗81⦘
