253 – (Weak chain of transmission) ʿUrwah ibn ʿĀmir said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about superstitious omens. He replied, ‘The best of them is a favorable sign (al-faʾl), and they do not hinder a Muslim. If you encounter something you dislike, then say:
O Allah, none brings good deeds except You, and none removes evil deeds except You; there is no power nor strength except with Allah.’ ⦗182⦘
