252 – (Sound) Concerning superstitious omens, Muʿāwiyah ibn al-Ḥakam (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I asked, ‘Messenger of Allah, some men among us take omens.’ He replied, ‘That is only a notion you find within your hearts; do not let it deter you.’”
