240 – (weak) Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) related that he removed a small impurity from the beard of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The Messenger of Allah then said, “May Allah wipe away from you, O Abu Ayyub, whatever you dislike.” In another wording he said, “No harm shall befall you, O Abu Ayyub.”
