Takhrij al-Kalim al-TayyibIbn Taimiya

27 – (Sound) ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Prophet ﷺ never left off these supplications when evening arrived or when morning dawned:

“O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, veil my vulnerabilities and calm my anxieties. O Allah, protect me from before me, from behind me, on my right, on my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your greatness from being taken unawares from beneath me.”

Wakiʿ commented: that is, through the earth caving in.
