213 – (chain of transmission sound) ʿĀʾishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to have infants brought to him; he would pray for them to be blessed and perform tahnīk (softening a date and rubbing it on their palate). ⦗162⦘
