Abu Musa al-Ashʿari—may Allah be pleased with him—reported: “I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, ‘When any one of you sneezes and then praises Allah, respond to him with the prayer of mercy; but if he does not praise Allah, do not respond to him.’” [158]
