200 – (Sound isnād) Abū Dāwūd also transmits, on the authority of ʿAlī (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet ﷺ said:

“It is sufficient, when a group passes by, for one of them to give the greeting of peace, and it is sufficient, for those who are seated, that one of them return it.” ⦗165⦘
