172 – (fair) Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:
A man once said, “O Messenger of Allah, I wish to travel, so advise me.” He replied, “Maintain taqwā (mindful piety toward Allah) and pronounce the takbīr—saying ‘Allāhu Akbar’—upon every rise in the land.”
When the man turned away, the Prophet ﷺ prayed, “O Allah, fold up the distance for him and make the journey easy.”
