152 – (chain of transmission is sound) Jabir ibn ʿAbd Allah — may Allah be pleased with them both — reported:

Some weeping people were brought to the Prophet ﷺ, so he prayed:

“O Allah, give us rain — a relieving, abundant, wholesome, fertile, and beneficial rain, not harmful; send it to us immediately and without delay.”

Thereupon the sky poured down upon them.
