21 – Section on accepting the divine decree without helplessness or negligence

Allah, Exalted is He, says: “O you who believe, do not be like the disbelievers who say of their brothers, when they travel throughout the land or go forth to battle, ‘Had they stayed with us, they would not have died nor been killed.’ Allah makes this a source of anguish in their hearts. It is Allah who gives life and causes death, and Allah is Seeing of all that you do.” ⦗Quran 3:156⦘
