12 – (Authentic) Juwairiyah, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her), reported:
The Prophet ﷺ left my house at dawn after performing the fajr prayer while I was sitting in my prayer corner. He returned later in the forenoon and found me still seated. He asked, “Have you remained in the same state in which I left you?” I replied, “Yes.”
He said, “After leaving you I have uttered four phrases, repeating each three times; if they were weighed against everything you have recited today, they would outweigh it:
subḥān Allāh ʿadada khalqihi (Glory be to Allah, as numerous as His creatures),
subḥān Allāh riḍā nafsihi (Glory be to Allah, as much as pleases Him),
subḥān Allāh zinata ʿarshihi (Glory be to Allah, equal to the weight of His Throne),
subḥān Allāh midāda kalimātihi (Glory be to Allah, equal to the ink of His words).”
