109 – (Sound) ʿAbdullāh ibn al-Zubayr—may Allah be pleased with them both—reported that he would say, after every prayer, once he had given the salām:
“lā ilāha illā Allāh waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulk wa lahul-ḥamd wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr (There is no god but Allah alone, without partner; His is the dominion and His is all praise, and He is able to do all things).
lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh (There is no power and no might except through Allah).
lā ilāha illā Allāh wa lā naʿbudu illā iyyāh (There is no god but Allah, and we worship none but Him).
lahu al-niʿmatu wa lahu al-faḍlu wa lahu al-thanāʾu al-ḥasan (His are the favors, His is the grace, and His are the most excellent praises).
lā ilāha illā Allāh mukhliṣīna lahu al-dīn walaw kariha al-kāfirūn (There is no god but Allah; we devote the religion sincerely to Him, even if the disbelievers dislike it).”
Ibn al-Zubayr also said, “The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to proclaim the declaration of ‘lā ilāha illā Allāh’ after every prayer.” ⦗111⦘
