103 – (Authentic) In the narration of ʿAlī (may Allah be pleased with him) describing the Prayer of the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—it is reported that one of the final supplications he would say between the tashahhud (testification of faith) and the taslīm (closing salutation) was:

“O Allah, forgive me for what I have sent ahead, what I have kept hidden, what I have made public, the excesses I have committed, and whatever You know about me better than I do. You are the One who brings forward and the One who defers; there is no deity but You.”
