92 – (Sound) Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, ‘Samʿa Allahu liman ḥamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him),’ when he straightened his back after bowing. Then, while standing upright, he would say, ‘Rabbanā wa laka al-ḥamd (Our Lord, to You belongs all praise).’
In another authentic wording he said: ‘Rabbanā laka al-ḥamd (Our Lord, all praise is Yours).’ The version agreed upon by al-Bukhārī and Muslim is: ‘Rabbanā wa laka al-ḥamd,’ and also, ‘Allāhumma rabbanā laka al-ḥamd (O Allah, our Lord, all praise is Yours).’ ⦗104⦘
