Takhrij al-Kalim al-TayyibIbn Taimiya

87 – (Sound) In the report narrated by ʿAlī (may Allah be pleased with him) describing the Prophet’s ﷺ prayer:

When he bowed, he would say while bowing:
“O Allah, to You I have bowed; in You I believe, and to You I have submitted. My hearing, my sight, my mind, my bones, and my sinews have all humbled themselves before You.”

When he raised his head from bowing, he would say:
“Allah hears those who praise Him. Our Lord, to You belongs all praise—filling the heavens, filling the earth, filling whatever lies between them, and filling whatever else You will thereafter.”

And when he prostrated, he would say while prostrating:
“O Allah, to You I have prostrated; in You I believe, and to You I have submitted. My face has prostrated before the One who created it, shaped it, and opened its hearing and sight. Blessed is Allah, the best of creators.”
