(1) The very same manuscript was examined by Abdul-Rauf al-Munawi, who used it in his commentary on al-Nuzha and highlighted its high standing, saying: “I consulted the copy belonging to al-Kamal Ibn Abi Sharif—the one he read to the author, who in his own hand certified it on nearly every folio—and I found in it ….” Al-Yawaqit wa-l-Durrar, 2:269.
