- They rejected authentic and explicit texts that ran counter to their opinion—at times by reinterpreting them and stripping them of their import, and at other times by ignoring them altogether or by declaring them weak. None of them, however, are qualified specialists in hadith authentication; nevertheless, they felt compelled to intrude upon a field in which they possess no expertise, pronouncing whatever they pleased to be sound or weak solely to shield their own view.
٥ - أنكروا نصوصا صحيحة صريحة على خلاف رأيهم تارة بتأويلها وتعطيل دلالاتها وتارة بتجاهلها أو بتضعيفها وهم جميعا ليسوا من أهل التصحيح والتضعيف وإنما اضطروا أن يدخلوا أنفسهم فيما ليس لهم به علم فصححوا وضعفوا ما شاؤوا دفاعا عن رأيهم
